Sheriff's Sales are on foreclosed properties and are generally held on Tuesdays starting at 10:00 am at the north door of the Jackson County Courthouse, 201 W. Platt St. Maquoketa, Iowa.

It is highly recommended you contact an attorney before purchasing a property at Sheriff’s Sale to make sure you are purchasing what you think you are and to answer any legal questions you may have. We have no information on the property other than what is in the Notice of Levy. You need to do your own research.

Sheriff sales are subject to postponement or cancellation right up until the scheduled date and time of sale.

Payment

Full cash payment, either by cash or cashier's check, is expected by 4:00 pm on the day of the sale.
