Duties and Responsibilities

Under the general direction of the County Board of Supervisors, the Human Resource Administrator is directly responsible for the overall administration, coordination, and evaluation of human resource functions for Jackson County.  The Human Resource Administrator is responsible for the development and administration of policies and programs covering employment, compensation, benefits, performance management, employee and labor relations, coordination and administration of hiring as well as compliance with federal, state and local employment laws.
