Onsite Wastewater Treatment

Jackson County Environmental Health permits and regulates onsite wastewater treatment systems (also known as private sewage disposal systems) serving 4 homes or fewer or less than 15 people.

Steps to Obtain a Septic Permit:

  1. To Start your Septic Permit Application click here
    • Select a Jackson County Licensed Septic Installer listed within the application.
    • Pay the fee.
    • Allow up to two weeks for your application to be processed.
