Do you need to obtain a Real ID (add gold star)?
If you need to obtain a Real ID, please visit the Iowa DOT website for document requirements.
Are you required to carry a DOT physical card?
If you are required to carry a DOT physical card, please have this card with you at your appointment.
To renew or make changes to your CDL, you are required to provide your certified birth certificate if you do not have a Real ID (gold star.) Please enter your initials to confirm.
