Sex Offender Registry
Any questions regarding Jackson County Sex Offenders or any offender who needs to register in Jackson County should contact Karen Wells, Office Administrator, at kwells@jacksoncounty.iowa.gov or by calling 563-652-3312, option 3, option 3.
If you know of an offender who may be out of compliance or not living at the registered address, please contact the office so that compliance can be checked. Information made available on this website is for your information and protection. Please do not take action on your own, but please do contact your local law enforcement office.
Registration Requirements
Register with the Sheriff's Office initially upon moving to Jackson County. You must provide all information specified by Iowa Code Chapter 692A at the time of your initial registration and within five (5) business days of any change in that information.
An annual registration fee of $25.00 must be paid in cash at the time of registration.
