Director
Under the general direction of the County Board of Supervisors, the Director of Human Resources is directly responsible for the overall administration, coordination, amd evaluation of human resource functions for Jackson County. The Director of Human Resources is responsible for the development and administration of policies and programs covering employment, compensation, benefits, performance management, employee and labor relations, coordination and administration of hiring, as well as compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
