Administrative Assistant

Jackson County is seeking a motivated individual to fill an Administrative Assistant position in the County Auditor’s Office.

This is a full-time, in-office position working 35 hours per week, offering a starting wage of $24.00 - $27.00 per hour

This position requires strong accuracy, attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task to complete varied departmental responsibilities.  Must have proficient computer skills, including proficiency in use of Microsoft Office programs including word, excel, and outlook required. 

Interested candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent; and two (2) years progressively responsible office experience.  Experience with payroll processing and accounts payable preferred.
